Chucao Chileno

Hidden among the dense vegetation of southern Chile, the chucao is often heard before it is seen. Its distinctive call travels through the forest, revealing a small bird with a surprisingly powerful presence.

This work celebrates the quiet inhabitants of the native forest and the intimate connection between wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit.
